Vertigo42 is a rock band formed by Purdue graduate students that has been active over the past few years in and around campus. Through numerous personnel changes over the years, we have always boasted of a diverse line-up of musicians from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and America and have covered rock genres ranging from Western to Indian rock including fusion-rock music. You can check out our Facebook page and YouTube page to get a taste of our past performances.
We have been fortunate to perform at several shows organized by the Purdue Chapter of Asha Education during the last 2-3 years. Asha Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting literacy among children and we have always admired their motivation and efforts towards uplifting the education standards of under-privileged children, especially in India.
This year like the past few years we will again be performing for Asha Purdue on 28th October, 2018 at Loeb Playhouse. However we are glad to announce that we also have volunteered to contribute actively towards their cause. To all our friends and those who have actively followed us through the past few years, we sincerely request you to donate by using the “Donate Now” link and contribute to the great and noble cause pursued by Asha Purdue. Every donation counts and the slightest of generosity on your part will go a long way to enrich the lives of children who need our support. Vertigo42 is proud that we are getting an opportunity to make a substantial contribution to society at large, besides entertaining audiences through our music. We hope that you, as our friends and followers, would stand by our side in our efforts.
See you all on October 28th at Loeb Playhouse. Until then…
